Annie Oti is the Founder of the Africa Fashion Law. She is a fashion lawyer who has been called to the Nigerian Bar and she is a graduate of law from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria.
Annie has over five years experience from various roles in the Nigerian Fashion industry. She also has sat in a number of local and international fashion panels where she shared her knowledge on Fashion Law. Amongst several wins to celebrate, Annie Oti was recognized by the prestigious Fashion Law Institute in Istanbul, Turkey as the Most Influential Lawyer in Africa 2019.
Mally Mbamalu is the Programs Manager at The Africa Fashion Law. She is also a Legal Associate at Jumbo Chambers with active legal practice experience in Litigation and general legal advisory services.She is a solution driven legal professional with strong interests in Intellectual Property, Fashion Law and Corporate practice.
She is passionate about the business of fashion and how it relates to law, as it concerns creatives in the fashion industry. She aims to promote Fashion law in Nigeria and to bring awareness to the legal issues and rights surrounding this area of law.
Mally is a Law Graduate from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). Outside of work, Mally is a movie fanatic, loves to travel and learn new things in fun and creative ways.
