Yesterday, Nigerians turned out powerfully for the first Nigerian Match at the FIFA world Cup 2018. I am so proud to be a Nigerian to be part of a country that has so many patriotic citizens.

The unique creative jersey was sold out in the first day, thus so many replicas were further produced and Nigerians definitely purchased the jerseys in support of the country’s team.
Green and white was the order of the day.
According to Mark Twain “patriotism is loyalty to ones country all the time…” True loyalty was definitely shown by Nigerians.

The loss of the game to Croatia was sad and disappointing to the nation but then we can only hope and believe that there would be a change in the games we have left.
Patriotism means to stand by your country both when it wins and when it falls.
